Yesterday the NBA announced that the 2019–20 season will be suspended due to the Corona virus. It was after Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz tested positive for the virus and later also his teammate Donovan Mitchell.
At this point no one know if the season will ever finish and if so when. Adam Silver on TNT:
“What we determined today is that this hiatus will be, most likely, at least 30 days”
Decision is both understandable and wise. Regardless of how we feel, it is just a game and we should not play it or watch it when putting players, referees, arena employees and fans at risk.
Personally I will deep dive into some old classics games that I wanted to see again for a long time, but there has been so much basketball going on. Now it is not….
