One player who has been a positive surprise (or not ?) this year is Nikola Jokic. So far this season the 7 feet/250 lbs center is averaging 19+ points, 10+ rebounds and 7.5 assists per game while shooting 84% from the line. He also recently recorded his 20:th triple double, being the third youngest player ever to reach that. This week we took a look at if this also translate to wins with a look at Jokic’s +/- rating in the game Saturday vs the Hornets. He did have an excellent game with season high 39 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. And also added three steals. Those are pretty impressive numbers and gave him a +8 rating. One of his baskets came with a forearm across the whole face. The game also featured a monster dunk from Malik Monk
Conclusion being a 8% discount on a Spalding NBA Game Ball this week. Great deal. Decided by a great player.

Week 3 – Successful trade?
One of the block-buster trades last year was Blake Griffin to Detroit Pistons for Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley and fan-favorite Boban Marjanovic (Go Boban!). On Saturday it is Blake’s homecoming to L.A. (The trade happened after the Pistons went to L.A. last year) and both Blake and Harris are having the best year of their respective careers. This will be an emotional game for both Harris and Griffin. And I expect Griffin to really light things up. Regardless who will win the battle it will be a good one, so the point differential between Griffin and Harris will be next weeks discount on a Molten GGX ball.
